Bright Future for Kapolei Real Estate

April 21st, 2008 admin Posted in KAPOLEI REAL ESTATE NEWS No Comments »

Kapolei could help stabilize the economy of the entire state

One of the big pieces of Kapolei real estate news has been the ongoing efforts to develop Kapolei into an urban center — Oahu’s Second City. This is offering a variety of opportunities, according to Leroy Laney, a local economist who spoke to the Kapolei Chamber of Commerce earlier this month. The Honolulu Advertiser reports on the prospects for Kapolei real estate:

“As Kapolei transforms into an urban center, it will be a source of jobs for people who live in the area and a provider of a full range of private and public goods and services for local residents, visitors and businesses in Kapolei and beyond."

Many projects, including the Kapolei road projects, are expected to help Kapolei’s future development move ahead.

Advantages of Using a Kapolei Real Estate Agent

March 31st, 2008 admin Posted in KAPOLEI REAL ESTATE NEWS No Comments »

A Kapolei real estate agent can help you buy or sell Hawaii real estate

If you are looking to buy or sell a Kapolei home, a real estate agent may be a good bet. It is true that you can do it yourself, as Chris Pirillo points out, but there are some definite advantages to using a real estate agent to buy or sell Hawaii real estate:

  1. Knowledge. A Kapolei real estate agent has in-depth knowledge of the local area. S/he knows what price you are likely to get (or what is reasonable to pay) for a Kapolei home. Additionally, s/he has knowledge of specific home loan programs and benefits, as well as established relationships with brokers and loan officers. John Riggins is a Kapolei real estate agent with 31 years experience. He can put the knowledge to work for you.
  2. Convenience. True, you can list your Kapolei home for sale, or look through the Classifieds on your own. This is especially a sticking point for those looking to sell Hawaii real estate. But if you do your own advertising, you have to foot the entire bill, and you have to craft all the ads, and work hard to promote your home. Plus, you have to take care of your own paperwork (bill of sale, mortgage paperwork, title paperwork, etc.). It is much more convenient to have the help of someone else.
  3. Time. Anytime you do something yourself, including buy or sell Hawaii real estate, you have to be aware of the time it takes. You can do it, but it can take a lot of your time. How much is your time worth? Research, promotion, paperwork and looking all take time. Do you have it?
