Ko Olina Resort Moving Forward
The Disney Resort is underway in Ko Olina Resort on Oahu. Disney is expected to put an $800 million investment into the resort which in turn is a big investment in the future of Oahu. Tourism officials are seeing Disney’s commitment as a strong belief in Oahu and its resiliency. The construction is underway in Ko Olina and it has people excited about what is to come.
The first phase of the Disney Resort in Ko Olina will open in the Fall of 2011, with the second phase set to open in the Winter of 2012 and the third to open in Winter of 2013. The project has created a lot of jobs on Oahu for the construction of the Ko Olina resort and will continue to provide jobs once the resort opens.
