Today, ahead of schedule, the first tax rebate deposits are coming to some of those with direct deposit taxes. Checks will be mailed out soon, and until July, deposits and checks will be made for Americans who qualify for a tax rebate, and that includes residents of Kapolei.

With record oil prices and food prices inflation, it is expected that many will spend the tax rebate not on a consumer spending spree, as the government originally intended, but on necessities.
