This weekend there will be a few activities celebrating Earth Day, which is April 22 (Tuesday).

You can celebrate Earth Day in Kapolei by bringing recyclables (HI-5) to the Reynold’s Recycling near the SafeWay.

Also there, is a restoration project in Ewa Beach tomorrow, as well as a clean up of Hanuama Bay. The Hanuama Bay Earth Day clean up will begin at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow.

The Oahu Arm Natural Resources Program is holding an Earth Day Weed-a-Thon on Tuesday. Efforts will focus on Kahanahaiki.

Other Earth Day activities in and around Kapolei include an Hawaii Audubon Society Meeting and a Tree and Plant Giveaway.
