Kapolei Real Estate News: Sustainable Energy Park Comes to Kapolei

James Campbell Company teams with Hoku Solar

A sustainable energy park, the largest photovoltaic facility on Oahu, is coming to Kapolei real estate. The Japnes Campbell Company is teaming up with Hoku Solar, a subsidiary of Hoku Scientific, to build the large Kapolei Sustainable Energy Park. MSN Money reports on the power output that would be produced by this Kapolei real estate development:

The Kapolei Sustainable Energy Park would be capable of generating
approximately 1.5 megawatts of photovoltaic power. Over the life of the
system, it would produce enough electricity to power approximately 6,700
homes for one year.

This is a step forward in making Kapolei a more sustainable city, helping to transform Oahu’s Second City into a model of green practices even as it grows.
