Foodland, the Honolulu-based grocery superstore, is planning on a large development in Kapolei real estate. The company is planning a large project, the Kapolei Village Center, near the Mehana at Kapolei development for residences. Pacific Business News reports on the latest "Second City" real estate development:
"We are extremely excited about this opportunity to serve the residents
of Kapolei in this growing area of Oahu," Jenai S. Wall, Foodland
chairman and CEO, said in a prepared statement. "We have received
numerous requests from our customers and employees to open a local
grocery store in Kapolei, and we are pleased that we will be able to do
that and much more at our new center."
