Kalaeloa Boulevard to be Widened this Year

There are several new Kapolei road work projects slated to begin this year in order to improve traffic flow through Kapolei real estate. One of the projects to be started is the Kalaeloa Boulevard improvement project.
Kalaeloa Boulevard is going to be widened between Malakole and H-1 from four lanes to six lanes, in order to better accommodate commuters in and out of Kapolei. This will be especially important as Kapolei growth in residences, jobs and people increases. Cross streets will be included in this project, which is scheduled to be completed by 2010.
