Kapolei Commuters Should Be Aware of Road Work

Kapolei roads are undergoing massive amounts of work as transportation projects move forward. The end result will be a better traffic infrastructure to accomodate all the Kapolei real estate growth in the area. However, right now it pays to be aware of road closures and work. Kapolei commuters should be aware that between 9:30 pm and 5:30 am, lane stripping is taking place near Makakilo. The Honolulu Advertiser reports on these closures:
The state Department of Transportation said nighttime two-lane closures
on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction will continue through
Friday between the Kunia and Makakilo Interchanges.
