Kapolei Real Estate News: Mehana Subdivision Units Going on Sale

Kapolei subdivision starts selling units this weekend

Homebuilder D.R. Horton’s Schuler Division is announcing that this weekend it will start selling units in the new Kapolei Mehana subdivision. Mehana will offer residential units, as well as units that allow live-work arrangements. Commercial units will also be included in the subdivison. The Honolulu Advertiser reports on the Kapolei Mehana subdivision, one of the first communities to offer live-work units:

Mike
Jones, president of D.R. Horton’s Schuler Division, said the dual-use
units will allow residents with businesses to simplify their life and
avoid commuting to work.

"The
two principal benefits of the live-work units are value and
convenience, as residents will own one property that can essentially be
used as two," he said.
