Kapolei Real Estate News: Disney to Build Hotel at Ko Olina Resort

Kapolei real estate development will be first for Disney outside of its own resorts

Normally, when Disney builds a themed hotel, it does so in its own resorts. Now, however, the company wants to spread its brand. And the Disney hotel at Ko Olina Resort will be the first of the company’s stand-alone hotel efforts. The Star Bulletin reports on this 800-unit addition to Kapolei real estate:

Disney’s presence in Leeward Oahu is expected to create about 1,000 jobs but also to help long-struggling Ko Olina finally achieve critical mass and propel Kapolei further along the road to achieving second-city status.
