Increased Affordability Lowers Risk of Depreciation in Kapolei Homes

Kapolei real estate home values could hold steady

Even though Kapolei homes have experienced a price decline, the risk that Kapolei real estate will decline further is becoming less. This is because a price decline leads to better affordability, which can protect against Kapolei real estate home values depreciating. Inman News reports on the changes in price appreciation:

"We have seen a significant slowdown in price appreciation nationwide, and appreciation has gone negative in some areas," Milner said. "That’s improved affordability, which is being reflected in the risk scores. But risk is still high and it’s way too early to say we’re at an inflection point."

Even though risk remains that Kapolei homes could further decline in value, chances are that they will rebound over the coming years.
