Senate Approves $20 Million for Corridor Between Kapolei and Honolulu

Kapolei real estate to get boost from corridor

U.S. Senators Daniel K. Akaka and Daniel K. Inouye have played a role in getting $20 million appropriated for a corridor between Kapolei and Honolulu. The Honolulu Advertiser reports on this development:

Akaka
added: "I am proud this bill includes substantial resources that will
improve our transportation infrastructure, and also provide additional
opportunities for affordable housing, and strengthening social service
providers in Hawai’i."

Increased ease of transportation between Kapolei and Honolulu should help Kapolei real estate, as well as provide better affordable housing opportunities.
