Kapolei Engine Company Helps Contain Brushfires
Pearl City and Kalaeloa receives help from Kapolei
Brushfires have been a problem this season in Hawaii, and many different cities are pitching in to stop the spread of the fires. Some of the most recent brushfires in Pearl City and Kalaeloa have even received help from a Kapolei engine company, among others. The Honolulu Advertiser reports on the joint effort to contain brushfires:
companies from Kapolei, Makakilo, Waipahu and ‘Ewa Beach plus a brush
truck from Kapolei and tanker 412 from Waipahu fought the blaze which
was reported under control at 2:13 p.m., according to Main.
Even though the brushfires in Pearl City and Kalaeloa are under control, it is important to remember to be careful with fire this season.
